Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Quotas and General Instructions
Allocated Quota:
As per the Government of Punjab and Standing Order No. 5/2017, quotas are allocated for the following categories:
- Disabled Candidates: 3%
- Minority Candidates: 5%
- Women Candidates: 15%
Application Conditions
- Application Form:
The application form can be downloaded from the official Punjab Police website at punjabpolice.gov.pk. - Submission Process:
- Candidates must submit their completed application forms along with attested copies of the following:
- Educational certificates
- Experience certificates
- Domicile
- CNIC
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- A processing fee of Rs. 200 must be submitted.
- Applications for Central Police Office positions (Qila Gujjar Singh, Lahore) must be submitted there, while applications for other posts should be submitted to the District Police Lines of the respective districts in Punjab.
- Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
- Candidates must submit their completed application forms along with attested copies of the following:
- Rejection Criteria:
- Incomplete or incorrect applications, or those received after the deadline, will be rejected.
- Candidates can apply for multiple posts but are not allowed to apply for the same post in multiple units.
- Scrutiny Process:
- Applications will be reviewed by a Scrutiny Committee formed by the Chairman of the Recruitment Board.
- After document verification, a list of candidates eligible for the test and interview will be displayed on the Punjab Police website.
- This list, along with test/interview venue details, will also be displayed at the respective District Police Lines Offices.
- No separate notification will be sent via email, post, or newspaper advertisement. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the Punjab Police website for updates.
General Instructions
- Test/Interview Shortlisting:
- Only candidates meeting the listed merit criteria will be called for the test/interview.
- Government Employees:
- Employees of government or semi-government organizations must apply through their respective departments.
- No TA/DA (Travel Allowance) will be provided for the test/interview.
- Applicable Rules:
- Recruitment will follow the rules and regulations issued by the government.
- Original Documents:
- Candidates must bring original certificates and documents during the test/interview for verification.
- Affidavit Submission:
- Candidates must submit an affidavit declaring they are not involved in any FIR (First Information Report) or criminal case.
- Submission of false affidavits will result in permanent disqualification from Punjab Police service, and legal action will be taken.
- Verification of Documents:
- During the verification of educational credentials, domicile, CNIC, and medical certificates, if any documents are found to be fake or unverified, the candidate’s recruitment will be canceled, and legal action will follow.
- Posting and Decision:
- Successful candidates may be posted anywhere in Punjab.
- The decision of the competent authority will be final and cannot be challenged in any court or forum.
- Advertisement Modification:
- The department reserves the right to modify or cancel this advertisement in whole or in part.
